URJJA 2019

We want our young generation to be academically brilliant, emotionally stable, physically strong and spiritually sound. At the backdrop of this philosophy we have organized different physical activities in the school. The Annual Athletic Meet titled ‘URJJA’ was held on 15th & 16th of October at the school stadium. The Thiruvalla Muncipal Chairman, Shri.Cherian Polachirackal was the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony. The ceremony commenced with the march-past of all the four houses namely; Emerald, Ruby. Sapphire and Topaz. Later prizes were awarded to the winners of each category by the teachers. Our school participated in the Inter-school Football match conducted by CBSE at CMI Public School, Chalakudy on 1st October 2019.

The inaugural ceremony of the annual sports meet “URJJA 2018” was held on 16th Nov.2018. The meet commenced with the march past of 4 houses. The School flag was hoisted by the Director of the School, Mr. Anson George and the Director Academics, Dr. Rajan. K. Varghese declared the meet open. A Mass Drill performance brought in the competitive spirit in galore. An array of events followed the consecutive days at the Sub Junior, Junior and Senior level. Students took part with great enthusiasm & energy. The closing ceremony of the meet was on 4th December, 2018. District Panchayath Vice President, Shri. George Mammen Kondoor was the chief guest for the day. After his presidential address, he declared the closing of URJJA 2018 by lowering the flag. Achievers’ among the senior students & Sports Champions received their medals and certificates from the Chief Guest.
