Mrs. Suja Pradeep and Mrs. Chandralekha R attended a workshop conducted by Macmillian Education on Child Psychology and Teaching pedagogy by Mrs. Manju Goyal, psychotherapist and counselor.

Mrs. Ansu Kuruvilla John and Mrs. Mini R Pillay attended Hindi teacher’s training programme at Village Inn hauhanHotel, Chenganoor on 25th September 2019. Dr. Vinod Singh C hauhan was the trainer.

Mrs. Varsha Satheesh and Mrs. Christy Mariam James attended a workshop at St. Gregorious school, Kaipattoor. The class was lead by Mr. Alexander Jacob IPS.

Mr. Ajumon Joseph attended the workshop for Experiential Learning at Mar Basalious School , Kottayam on 2nd August conducted by CBSE.

On 22th & 23rd July 2019 Mrs. Anuradha M attended a workshop on new syllabus of Informatics Practices at Ebenezer International Residential School, Ettumanoor, Kottayam.

On 20th July 2019 Mrs. Pushpa R, Mr. Ajumon Joseph, Mrs. Mariamma Varughese attended a workshop on Remodelled Assessment Structure at Brook International School, Sastamkotta

Mrs. Pushpa R attended a meeting on Hub of Learning with Hub ID- K L 2347 on 8th July 2019 at St. George English Medium School,Kaippattoor, Pathanamthitta.

On 28th & 29th June 2019 Mrs. Anuradha M attended a workshop on new syllabus of Informatics Practices at Christu Jayanthi Public School,Kakkanadu.

Faculty Improvement Program

27th May 2019

The Faculty Improvement Program started at 10.00 a.m with prayer. The dignitaries on the stage were Rev.Vinoy Daniel, Dr. Rajan K Varughese, and Mr. Prakash Thomas Mathew. Dr. Rajan K Varughese, Academic Director welcomed all the respected dignitaries and participants. The First session was conducted by Rev.Vinoy Daniel. He started with problems faced by new generation. Communication increases community decreases and personal touch shrinks. Later on the discussion was about children’s attitude towards life, insecurity and emotional instability. School was compared to jail. Make life fruitful and not competitive. After the tea break an interactive lecture on role of teachers towards children and profession. Teacher was compared to priest and the student to a pilgrim.

The second days orientation program had 2 sessions. Mrs. Starla Luke focused on the topic-“How a teacher should be”. She explained about the quality of teacher, characteristics of a teacher and value based education.

An informative lecture on “Healthy Speaking Voice’ was discussed by Ms.Anupa Paul. In this session participants learnt the step by step procedure and different exercises regarding the improvement of our voices and modulation of voice inside the classroom.

A computer awareness program was conducted for all the teachers. Computer department teachers Ms. Anuradha M and Ms.Shinta Elsa Mathew conducted these interactive and informative sessions.

The fourth day orientation program was engaged by Dr. Sanjo Mathew in collaboration with Corodova Publications. She guided us in various aspects like creative teaching, challenging behaviour, methods of creative teaching, classroom management, qualities of good teacher and class room management.

The last day of the FIP was engaged by Ms. Bindhu V, Principal of Vidhya Vihar school, Thrissur and an ‘A’ Grade trainer from CBSE. The recent and important notification from CBSE board were discussed in this session.

All the sessions were very much informative. The discussed areas are of great benefit for the participants as the topics match with the current working domain.

On 5th & 6th April 2019 Mrs. Shinta Elsa Mathew and Mrs. Anuradha M attended a workshop on new syllabus of Informatics Practices at Amal Jyothi Engineering college, Kanjirapalli.

On 5th December 2018 Mrs. Shinta Elsa Mathew and Mrs. Anuradha M attended a workshop on new syllabus of Informatics Practices at Mar Thoma Senior Secondary School, Kozhencherry

On 2nd & 3rd November 2018 Mrs. Mariamma Varughese and Mrs. Nisha Kumari attended the capacity Building Programme on Social Science Conducted by CBSE at Mount Bethany, Kumbazha.

On 11th December 2018 Physical Education Teacher Mr.Daly Tom George attended the junior NBA programme at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kochi.

On 15th & 16th December 2018 Mrs. Pushpa R attended the capacity Building Programme on career guidance conducted by CBSE at SDVE Senior Secondary School,Alappuzha.
